The Three Year Old Program is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child. Three-year-olds have wonderful characteristics and are discovering life at a rapid pace.

They are mostly affectionate and confiding, they like to help adults and have only just discovered make believe play. They enjoy floor play activities, both alone and with other children.

These characteristics will form the basis for the program, which will aim to:

• Develop their gross and fine motor skills according to their developmental stage.
• Encourage their love for dramatic play and provide a stimulating dramatic play area
• Provide activities, which stimulate their sensory development.
• Expand and encourage their verbal, written and listening skills through stories, songs and games.
• Give each individual child many opportunities to succeed and give them praise for all their efforts.
• Nurture their emotional development.
