Facilities

The Kindergarten building and playground is located on the Creamery Road College site.

Facilities indoors are bright and attractive, modern, spacious and especially comfortable for children.
The activities available are varied and change constantly with the program and the individual needs and development of the children, allowing for experimentation, individual self-expression and creativity.

Educationally, the facilities prepare them for skills they need as they progress into primary school.

Dressing up, kitchen and shop areas encourage children with confidence as they express their imagination through drama and the playing out of roles of everyday situations.

The Kindergarten has its own Library but is complemented by having the use of the College Library and lower primary school facilities, together with any special school programs, or visiting groups.

An attrative open outdoor playground area, (fully fenced and independent from the College) encourages exploration of God’s world through nature by:

* Planting seeds and seedlings, watching and caring for plants
* Enjoying the fruits and flowers as they grow
* Discovering garden creatures
* Caring for small domestic animals - birds, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Physically the playground is a challenging, creative safe environment designed to help the children discover their physical capabilities including skipping, hopping, balancing, climbing, riding, swinging, throwing and catching. Outdoor equipment provides further opportunities for children to develop and practise their social skills.
